Contracts /Legal Specialist

The incumbent will be responsible for Contract review and administration and the key areas of responsibility would consist of the following:-

  • Serve as the point of contact for all contracts with internal/external parties on contractual matters.
  • Ensure timely review, approval and reconciliation of variations/deviations.
  • On all standard and non-standard contracts provide redlined recommendations and often negotiate directly with Suppliers until consensus is reached.
  • Maintain contractual records and documentation of follow-ups and emails.
  • As needed provide guidance on contractual matters in contracting practices and procedures.
  • Develop/maintain and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance to company policy.
  • Ensure signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contractual visibility and awareness.
  • Coordinate daily with Contracts / Legal Specialists to ensure that all agreements entered into are in compliance with Company standard.
  • Work with Corporate Insurance to coordinate contractual insurance requirements.
  • Ensure contract close-out, extension or renewal.

Qualification & Experience:-

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent – Prefer in Law
  • Have minimum of seven (7) years experience in contracts.
  • Aviation knowledge is an advantage.
  • Literate in Computer program.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and experience with Oracle.

Skills:-

  • Strong communication, analytical, negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Fluent business English proficiency (read/speak/write).
  • Positive proactive approach.
